This policy covers your account, robot pairing and connected robot controls.
Information we use
When you choose Google sign-in, Google and Amazon Cognito process your account identifier, name, email address, and email verification status. Cognito maintains your Z Autobot account so you can sign in again. We request basic identity access; this login does not request access to your Google Drive, Gmail, or contacts.
Purpose and service providers
We use account information to authenticate you and identify your account. AWS hosts the application and identity service. Cloudflare provides domain and DNS services. Google provides sign-in. These providers process information needed to deliver those services under their own policies.
Browser storage and operational logs
Your light, dark, or system theme preference is saved in local browser storage. The browser temporarily stores sign-in verification data and your access token in tab session storage. The app removes its token on sign-out or when it expires. AWS may process request metadata such as IP addresses and timestamps for service operation. Application logs are configured with a 14-day retention period.
Retention and your choices
Your Cognito account remains until it is deleted. To request access, correction, or deletion of your Z Autobot account, email contact@zautobot.com. You can also manage the Google app connection in your Google account. Signing out does not delete your account.
Robot data
We store the association between your account and your robot, so access is restricted to the robot’s owner. Connected modules send hardware and safety status, recent events, and command acknowledgements through AWS IoT. Commands are sent to the selected module to operate the robot. When the owner starts live viewing, camera images travel through an encrypted connection to the browser, directly or through an AWS relay. Live video is not recorded or stored by this service. If you select Record or Capture photo, your browser saves a video or image to your device; it is not uploaded to AWS. Voice messages recorded in the browser are uploaded to private temporary AWS storage for playback on the robot and expire through the storage lifecycle policy. AI conversation remains unavailable.
